Ron is President of the Coorparoo and Districts Heritage Group, a retired Heritage Architect with a passion for preserving our city’s heritage.

Trooper Nigel Cox is the current Registrar at Army Museum South Queensland (AMSQ) a regional museum of the Australian Army History Unit. His talk will give us an insight into what interesting material this little known

Under The Lino

Caylie Jeffrey, a freelance writer, educator and facilitator, has spoken on this topic to numerous groups who all find the topic very interesting. Come along and discover what exciting things can be found under the lino. This meeting will be the Christmas celebration with Christmas cheer. A raffle, with prizes donated by members and community leaders will be conducted.

Dara and the Holy Name Cathedral

Fr. Denis Martin gave a very interesting and informative address about a former grand home just across from All Hallows School. He also spoke about the proposed Holy Name Cathedral that was never built.
